West Indies won the toss and opted to bat against Sri Lanka as they looked to end a disappointing tour with a win in the second Twenty20 international on Wednesday. The tourists made two changes to the side that lost the first of their two-match T20 series by 30 runs in Pallekele Monday, while Sri Lanka picked an unchanged team. Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo and all-rounder Jason Holder made way for Denesh Ramdin and Ravi Rampaul as the West Indies sought to avoid a whitewash at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sri Lanka swept the three-match one-day international series 3-0 and also won the preceding Test series without loss, taking it 2-0. The start of Wednesday's match was delayed by around 15 minutes because of rain.
